2025 Skate Ontario Sectional Series | Oct 16-19

The 2025 Skate Ontario Sectional Series will be held from October 16 to 19 and will take place in Allendale Recreation Centre, 190 Bayview Dr, in Barrie, Ontario.
The competition is sanctioned by and held under the rules of Skate Canada.

Nadiia Bashynska and Noe Perron are competing in Senior Ice Dance, and are listed as representing IAM Ontario. Not a country confirmation yet.

Senior Men should be interesting with David B and Grayson entered. No John though. Kemp/Elizarov moving up to Seniors domestically too.

Minsol competing in Senior again. Ontario isn't having the Sectional Qualifying Declaration for Junior/Senior this season, so it'll be a matter of waiting until the November Sectional Championships list comes out. Katherine Medland Spence also entered, along with Gabrielle Daleman.

Briere/Levesque!

Martina Ariano Kent also competing in Junior Women, now representing Skate Oakville.

This is good for me with the Junior/Senior Ice Dance and Men happening after I get home from the office (maybe if they want to run a bit late for Junior Men Short, it would give me time to get the stream started though ). Also Synchro is on the schedule for the short only.

It did take about 3 weeks for the archives for Skate Ontario August to go up, so that's the time frame I'm expecting with this. Entry lists should be up by Friday.

Lucy Hancock & Aiden Dotzert will be competing in only their 2nd event together after teaming up earlier this year in the Spring.

I think ill buy the stream for blue rink, which has senior events since lots of skaters I want to see. I want to watch the junior women but not enough to pay for other rink.

Got everything set up in time for Junior Men to start

I may try some individual recordings in the later events, but no guarantees. I did switch software so now my cat can't give opinions on the music choices.

Jonathon - popped the toe in his combo to a single, final spin wasn't working out (camel didn't want to camel.) I like watching him perform, he had a gentle performance. 41.09

James M - he seems like a happy guy on the ice, smiling when he wasn't concentrating on the technical aspects. 46.50, he looked happy with it

James C - slipped on what was supposed to be an opening 3A I think and turned into not really a jump. He looks less wild from a year ago. 50.55 into first.
