Seems a bit fishy with so close score but the difference between them and the Hungarians are 4,9 points, so they would most likely still be ahead of them if they didn´t count it, but 2nd in the free. Unless they push GOE on the sequence (seems unlikely).

Better here and now than later at the games. I am not really worried. To me, the great improvement is that their 3s is better and they upgraded their sequence.

Sad to say yep. O Canada you are left clinging to the hope Piper and Paul can win a medal but with it being in Italy and ther eturn of Gullaume things are not looking great. Deanna and Max need stellar programs and skates neither of which they have. Look they barely beat the Hungarians not technically. I have constantly said watch their pcs they are not ery high. They have not scored over 200 yet. In fairness it might be age but one would hope with Deanna being a former singles skater we would see some C level elements like an individual triple lutz or at least a loop, an incredible combo / sequence ie triple toe double axel double axel. or triple toe triple toe. even a throw quad? THeir skating requires they go clean and get all the elemtns done and that is not happening. the pcs willnot rise wihtout consitent clean skate. Now it looks like Japan, China, Italy, Georgia, Gernany , Hungary have or will pass them and it is just time before the US. So they might be like 7th or 8th instad of 3rd. I really hope they can go beyond words and figure out something but I too feel the pairs medal and defnitely team medal is gone.
