Chaeyeon KIM was my favorite tonight, I would give her the 1st or 2nd place tonight, she made me cry !

I like Chaeyeon a lot too but I think it will be hard for her to pass Rinka/Alysa.

Chaeyeon SP was very nice, it feels classy with the music and the theme was nice , her 3 Lutz + 3 Toe loop was very expressive.. beautiful

She had a new SP, but the singer of that piece was associated with a possible murder so she dropped that program for obvious ethical reasons and just hasn't had the time to make a new short. Her team is currently re-editing her Lady Gaga FS, which will likely be debuted at the GP Final or Nationals.

I did not know that. Maybe that's why she was so teary today? Anyway I would hope they could find new music but not have to revamp the choreography too much for her new SP...

I loved the music for her, And what a gorgeous, gorgeous dress! Okay, Starr's comes first but this is imo up there with Haien's as second, though so completely different.

Chaeyon is finding her form and is stronger skater emotionally. She is back in the conversation as a leading lady. She is giving us real emotion now as she matures.

Sometimes, I wish I didn't speak French. Why are all these skaters using the weirdest, darkest and most depressing French songs ?

Lol I was about to comment, "Why do skaters like to skate to dreary French ballad?? They all sound the same to me, maybe cause I don't speak French"

Not sure if that is it. Part of it yes - but there is something else...that may be private.
Young adults and teens have raging emotions and I think sometimes choose music to release those emotions.
