There’s not room for her at the top of US ladies. I don’t believe she’s ever medalled at US Nationals as a senior. Not even a pewter. She did win a silver at Skate Canada once. But she’s not progressing. I think she will be amazing in pairs. I think it’s a wise choice.

Maybe the lack of pressure knowing this was her last international skate (edit - as a single) helped her to blossom. Certainly I get teary often except for Yuzu and a couple of my juniors, but I misted up at the end there.

Is a 195.28 season best for Starr. I dont remember her getting that or a 130 in fs

I actually am too. The song was beautiful. Starr is so multitalented, and she looked better than I’ve seen her in every possible way.

Heart problems? What happened to her?
Her previous PB was 126.57 for the free and 191.26 total (both at Skate Canada International where she won silver), so it's a new PB for both here.

Ugh, watching Haein Lee struggle so much after Wakaba Higuchi’s heartbreaking skate is just painful. My heart hurts for these amazing women. 
Johnny’s commentary is next level cruel; he said he would prefer to watch someone on a park bench do a crossword puzzle over Haein’s FS. That is just vile to say coming from a former skater.

Love Chaeyeon skating, she is lovely, hope that her and Jia Shin make the Olympic team, these 2 are my favorites in Korea.
