why not? I think she should keep trying and make the decision on game day. I believe she is capable of it and would regret not trying it.

I'm surprised by this. I knew Rinka would be downgraded for the second 3A, but what else happened for her score to be dropped so much.

Alysa herself seemed to be confused about her winning the event.

Yeah. The world champion from America to lose in SkAm... it takes more than two landed 3A.

to be fair, the second 3a was downgraded and too footed so she probably scored about 1.5-2 points on that jump

I had the same layout I think. Still going to be happy as it was so hard to predict.
Men is where my score fell apart...

I think I got a gold in men, somehow unfortunately Christina and Anthony tanking also tanked my Dance score...

She won;t know until after Finlandia.

I wish that she go to the GPF to challenge again Alysa Liu, she would have win this competition if it would have not been in USA, they make everything to overscore Alysa here to make sure that she win. In an other country, Rinka would have win this.

Her 2 + 3 pushes out Isabeau's 2 + 4, but not sure what else needs to work out next week for her.

Her tech score was going to be dinged... there were at least 3 jumps not fully rotated.

That's why i love Alysa she is brutally honest she felt like her jumps weren't good today and doesn't gloss over it.

I meant one in the SP. I know the one in FS was downgraded. Alysa, obviously, rotated her every jump and demonstrated the extensions, transitions and everything else we come to expect from a score of 215...

Those URs weren't fake. Rinka gets these calls from most panels. Plus, she does have some things lacking in PCS. Her program is empty and her ice coverage is small and I'm not even that much of a Alysa fan. This is just reality.

Anyway, good free skate. My favorites were Lara and Starr..

And what about Alysa calls? We are going to pretend they don't exist o her exagerated pcs?

Rinks was pretty flat on her skate.

Love how casual Liu is in her approach to her skating and she has such a relaxed demeanor when she competes. I also really appreciate her use of full body movement in her programs. She makes skating look way too easy when it is anything but. My nickname for her is Carefree Queen. This program was much better than what she put down in China and it was very comparable to how she performed it at Boston Worlds.

Well, they did what they could to put Alysa into first.

Not really. I was surprised she only got 69 in PCS. If they wanted make sure she won, they would have scored her higher.

Who is the guy with Ashley? Also, Starr moved up a single spot from 6th to 5th even with some of the best skating I’ve ever seen her do. I think she can medal in pairs.

Thank God this event is over. Hopefully I will not have to deal with Johnny' and Tara again until Nationals.
