...ahhh Sota, at least the jumps are looking better than earlier than in the season but that was just a tight skate jump-wise. The spins and program were as beautiful as always, and he's definitely not out of it yet. His ice coverage on that step sequence is soooooo good.

Takumi is deservedly in the last two groups, I always love his skating so much. He just oozes quality and I love that he's getting choreo from Satoko. That 3F and those held edges in the steps are *chef's kiss*.

24. Shun Sato 佐藤 駿 Aim Services / Meiji University

ah no Shun looked nervous heading out onto the ice, he did well recovering after that lutz pop but he lost like 8 points on that one element alone. Regardless of what happens his Olympic spot is almost guaranteed and he didn't have a complete disaster so he'll be fine, but this was probably his shakiest short of the season. The toe and the axel were landed but not with his usual quality. The program is still gorgeous, though, I thought the step sequence GOE was a little harsh. At least he got something out of the lutz and didn't pop it into a double, that'll keep him close in medal contention.
