I think the score is fair given the clear URs. However, as a person, Rinka is my fave and I'm so sorry to see her so sad. She's such a fighter, funny and admirable.

For those who think this is a conspiracy, there is a reason this happens to Rika with almost every technical panel. As I said after Skate America, the URs are real and so are the PCS limitations.

Really good skate for Mayuko, apart from the step-out. Definitely redemption from the JGPF. I think that will secure her a Jr Worlds trip - At worst, 2nd highest placed Jr at Sr Nationals and Silver at Jr Nationals.

That was utterly brilliant, Mayuko has had the Nationals of her life! I love both of her programs this season, and although she's not the most facially expressive, this program is so good choreographically. There are so many unique movements and little details sprinkled throughout and she executes them so well. I love her spin positions, they are part of the choreo and storytelling, and the jumps are great as well. I really hope she gets rewarded with the PCS she deserves, she has not looked out of place in this final group at all.

Yesss! Oka’s entry to the 3A was so cautious that I thought she wouldn’t land it, but she did. I think she has the best set of programs among the juniors. The choreography is unique and she expresses it well. The junior Worlds team is set I think.

Mayuko's 3A was so effortless, then a step out from the flip but everything else clean. And I LOVE the added step sequence in the middle, the music was really nice and she got StSq4!

Very good skate. She looks juniorish in comparison to the other skaters who have just gone. ( As she should, she is a junior). Nice jump technique though... Nice upper body movement for a junior, too!
