Way to end the competition queen.
Fully deserved even tho GOE are over to the moon,still we can let her have this win.The problem is no way she deserved more PCS than Yuna so its should be difficult to get over Mao.
Still amazing work.Clean when it's needed.

I just started balling when I saw Wakaba crying in support of Kaori!!
Looks like Queen Kaori is going to win this. 230+ oncoming…

Only reviewed elements were the 3Lz2T and 3F3T. She should just get over 150 for this free skate

This might genuinely be one of the best events I've ever watched, if not the best. Everyone skated so well, the only disaster came from poor Rion, and the last two flights were incredible. Mai, Yuna, Wakaba, and Kaori moved me to tears, each delivering such a magical skate at what might be the last Nationals of their careers. The juniors were all so unique and so exciting, showing a lot of promise for the future. Every skater had their own style and interesting programs, and they really brought both technical and artistic excellence, especially in this final flight.
also, Maria Egawa, who was 13th here with a score of 187.29, would have been in 12th place at the 2022 Olympics, and that's with the Japanese Nationals conservative scoring being compared to the extremely generous Olympic numbers. This field is crazy deep, it might be the deepest women's field of all time.

The women laid it down! Even better than last year, although I really wish a few skaters would have done much better. Like Sumiyoshi….who was heartbreaking. To me this was the best event of the season so far.
There will be no surprises for Olympics and Junior World teams.

To be honest, she would have deserve to be ahead of Amy Nakai in this competition. I'm really sad for her for not making the Olympic team because the JSF do everything to put her low PCS compare to her international result where she score 65 (in GPF) and 67 (in Skate America) in PCS. What a shame ! She deserve her Olympic team. She is like Elizaveta Tuktamysheva a great skater who deserve an Olympic spot and never gain it

Still interesting competition with lot of fighting.Olympics spots as predicted.

Well done from Rinka and Yuna today especially.

I would love for those 3 to go but I'm sure one of the slot is going to Ami. She needs the major championship experience and all the ranking points possible before the Olys....
Mone is 50:50, I can see benefits for her either way (going or not going to 4CC). But I have a feeling she would like to go.
That leaves only 1 slot left, which should go to Yuna

I'm just thrilled JSF finally decided to acknowledge the beauty that is Yuna Aoki and put her 3rd the freeskate and 2nd in PCS. Yes, she is the one that deserves 76 in PCS but 70 is still a win!
I wouldn't say there was anything "conservative" with how Sakamoto and Shimada were scored. Some of the others, maybe, but there were enough candies here.

I would like Watanabe to go to 4CC and win it just to show JSF the mistake they made in lowering her PCS here.

That's one point,but still important they give 63 for this disaster that Mao presented.Now we wait for Rino to get her PCS
