2026 U.S. Nationals Senior Pairs Free Skate

I am so happy to see Audrey and Balazs start to come into their own after a rough start to their season. They had some bobbles, there was the rough twist to start and a few points lost on throw GOE, and of course that last lift was killer points-wise. They don't have quite the same quality or ease yet as Ellie & Danny and Alisa & Misha, but that's just because they are a newer team coming into their own. They did well to hold up under the pressure of being in second, and even though they will drop behind Ellie & Danny, they have made a strong case for that second Olympic spot as a young, up-and-coming team who is gaining momentum now.

This skate that suffers from a hundred small mistakes. Even the us judges aren't going with them in GOE and internationally they will get hammered. It is probably enough to stay ahead of Chan/Howe. But, Ashley is really not understanding how many mistakes were made here.
It may be very close...

Going crazy flipping between Peacock pairs g1 replay & g2 & than g3 as I had a late dr appt.
Hopefully the link worked for you? I know it says "not available in you region" but it usualy works if you are logged in.

The judges saw it even if Ashley didn't.

oof, behind Chan/Howe overall... that last lift really cost them, I hope they are kind to themselves because that is such a hard position to be in as a team. They looked devastated in the kiss & cry, which is really not what I wanted to see :(. I don't envy the selection committee having to decide which team to send, because there is just a point between Shin/Nagy and Chan/Howe and they had a comparable fall season..
