I was inputting FS competitions in my calendar only to find that Challenge Cup this year is happening at the same dates as Four Continents! D:
Not too happy with the overlap, understandable because of Olympics season, which would mean I will watch this Challenge Cup live and then watch more figure skating (Four Continents) at home right after 😂

Me too! I was surprised Challenge Cup was planned so early, but, yes, the reason is the Olympics taking place. Last time they did it after the Olympics but that meant skaters who had been there (at the OG) didn't show up or, if they did, had a underwhelming showing! I'll do the same as you.

Latest update (6th of January) to download. The number of sr entrees actually has gone down since the last one. No Japanese this year (that's what you get when you plan a competition simultaneously with 4CC). It's only ID (Jr and Sr) and the young ones that seem interesting.

They really should have stuck to the end of February when it's usually held. Yes close to the OG, but then most of those who skate at the Olympics wouldn't have been planning to come anyway.

My fear of missing out has been non-existent...I think the entries next year will be better again. And I plan to come back to Tilburg for it.

Oh wow I just saw the list. So little entry on the senior part! :'(
I will be there the whole afternoon until evening on Saturday and Sunday!

I am here! I managed a short glimpse of Leon (missed my train). I cant wait to see his growth! The junior woman first group is warming up on the ice incl Lucca

Lilou Remeysen is very expressive, I love the lines she made and how effortless it looked on the ice. 60.75 and is on first place! SB and PB!

Roos Harkema fell on her first jump. 2A was good. (What I assume) singling the last jump. A bit cautious on the ice after the first fall. I love her bidirectional spin so much!!!! 32.47 , to 6th place

Noelie Haymoz from Switzerland first, with black dress with little white part. Handsdown on first combo jump triple lutz double? toe. Beautiful loop that ends with extension. 2A is a bit shaky but saved. Love love her step seq where she did use and move with the strong beat expressively. 52.52 to 3rd place.
