Well done to the Kovalev’s. Apart from the jumps they had real attack and energy, it built to a good end. Their TES dropped by 6pts so they dropped to 3rd.

They will be in the Olympics as Uzbekistan have no pair? Is that confirmed.

Bruno looking good, he is only 36.

Ioulia always look so happy and smiley, I hope she has a good Olympic experience this time round

This has been an enjoyable comp so far. Really like the Icelanders, they’ve improved so much in 12 months. Also enjoyed the Poles and Czechs. Disappointed for the Dutch, they did gat a SB, but his injury held them back this season. Still liking watching them though.

I forgot G/A had previously medaled in Euros. Go the Kovalevs

The transparent panels on her costume; the utterly French jumping; and the inexplicable shift to Seven Nations Army—there is no one as wonderfully French as the Kovalevs. I will miss them

Really nice lifts and pairs spin from Ghilardi/Ambrosini. If only their jumps/throws could match that.

That's a sore point amongst everybody at the minute. Uzbekistan haven't handed back the slot yet. And Camille and Pavel are not the only ones waiting for it to be confirmed. Because there are others that can benefit further down the line (Poland would get a Team Event slot for their Ice Dancers).

I don't know their plans, but sure they are not spring chickens, and there's also Camille's shoulder.
I hope they do their best at the Olympics.
