Even though I hoped to see Nina Pinzarrone win EC, I am so happy that Niina wins back-to-back. She is a beast, technical and performances wise. So now, can she compete for a OLY medal now after this huge score?

Yeah, I think she's suddenly (?) in contention for it. Definitely a dark horse of sorts as even though she won Euros last year I've never seen her being mentioned among medal contenders on the internet or by commentators.

Now being interviewed by Mark up to a week ago she couldn’t do flip and lutz

Looking at the results, Gubanova could easily have been on the podium here.

On the whole a very poor display for European ladies figure skating.

The pressure is in the Selevko brothers to bring home a medal now.

I do think it's a little sad that Mark Hanretty, who is just doing in-arena hosting and the winner's interview, knows more about Niina's past injury histories and brought it up more than Tonia and Chris did, because imo that adds a lot of context and makes her win even more important. It really makes me appreciate the amount of research he does in preparing for these events.
