But that is just a scheduling problem. US/Canada can also have their Nationals in December...and 4CC can be earlier.

Japanese and Korean skaters have their Nationals earlier... and are still penalized... or have to do 4CC and get to the Olympics tired.

Of course the schedule is the main problem but if it prevents skaters to get the opportunity to skate, then we cannot talk about world ranking points advantage...

Also, honestly, if we go deeper do you really think singles skaters get much of an advantage unless they are Japanese or American ? The top 6 is almost always out of reach for most skaters. (in normal years... not when B teams are sent because the A team is doing the games)

Just look at the top six men here... how would they fare at 4CC ? (no need to answer)
