I'd probably have Nakai a bit closer to the top 4 because I think she could be the big surprise at the competition.

Me, too. She has a good chance of landing a triple Axel in each program -- why not? Maybe she will be the one with "nothing-to-lose" nerves.

I agree! Ami reminds me of Marin Honda, there is just something effervescent about her skating. Kaori is the sentimental favorite, but if Ami can pull out the 3A I would root for her. Also curious what Adelia has planned. Her team has wisely been very discreet. Haven’t heard anything about her recently.

All 3 Japanese are 4 cc champ I think except for ami
