The betting odds for the women's gold medal seem about right:

Kaori Sakamoto (JPN) +175 (~36% chance of winning)
Adeliia Petrosian (AIN) +240
Alysa Liu (USA) +270
Amber Glenn (USA) +430
Ami Nakai (JPN) +1600
Niina Petrokina (EST) +2500
Mone Chiba (JPN) +2500
Isabeau Levito (USA) +4000

I'd probably have Nakai a bit closer to the top 4 because I think she could be the big surprise at the competition.

I agree! Ami reminds me of Marin Honda, there is just something effervescent about her skating. Kaori is the sentimental favorite, but if Ami can pull out the 3A I would root for her. Also curious what Adelia has planned. Her team has wisely been very discreet. Haven’t heard anything about her recently.

Based on. Men . Anything can happen. I dont put in those odds. The left off Nina peteokina euro champ.
Shaidrov was 4cc champ.

I would put those odds on pedaling or sweeping.
All 3 Japanese are 4 cc champ I think except for ami

As we saw quad mean nothing if not clean.
Ami and amber been having nervous 3a landings the past few events.
