I hated him. He was such a bully on the ice. He was DQed so many times. I have no idea how the short track gods gave him a win... but maybe it was the devil.

a little generous in my opinion, but not as egregious as some of their other SP scores this season
This was much better than their disaster of a SP from the Team Event, but I still find this program to be lacking that Sui/Han magic. I'm sure Sui's injury has not helped, she was clearly in a lot of pain at 4CC and has not had the time to recover since then. There are still flashes of brilliance with this team in their performance, speed, and synchronization across the ice, but I felt like this program was a little tight even considering the injury, everything seemed a little tentative and tight until the step sequence. This won't be enough for them to defend their title, especially considering how much they have struggled with the FS this season, and I find myself wishing they had been able to finish on the joy of a gold medal at home.

That's funny that you are talking about clones. Because before this started, I was watching the ski jumping, and was commenting that Nika Prevc (SVN) and her three older brothers (Domen, Cene, and Peter) are all clones of each other.
It is freaky how alike they all are!

This was much better than they did at TE. Yes, they are not near the form they had four years ago but she still has more charisma and performance quality in her finger tip than 90% of entire field. Also, her split position in the lift is to study by others, top notch.
