Shame about the fall because Kaiser has potential but she does have things she needs to work on such as spins and skating skills. Her 3-3 is a money jump when she lands it, but this wasn’t her best. I also don’t like the music choice. Very few skaters can make Whitney Houston work, but at least it’s Whitney and not an awful cover.

Question to the group: I know arm's over the head makes jumps harder to complete, but if that's all you do, then no extra points. I prefer to see arm variations. Or since this is becoming more common, less GOE?

I was just going to post 'watch the judges'. I'm more interested in knowing why two AIN women are in the event while only 1 man was in the men's event. If this has been discussed, I don't recall seeing it. Just curious.

You have to be eligible and meet certain requirements hence No pairs or dance team. They need to show not affiliated/support the leadership that decided to go to war or the war. I am not sure Adelia or anyone reasonably has a shot anyways. Forget her injuries and lack of competition experience as Russia has not been competing internationally since 2022 she does not have the exposure or cannto learn from the past what the judges want from her. Her score 72 and change seemed a bit low but it depends how everyone else is rated. I would have had her 2 to 3 pts. higher. I like seeing all the competitors; not a huge fan of politics and sports. I was a bit worried USA would be forced not to compete because of some of their leaders actions and what he says. Adelia will find it tough to podium even if she skates well. She is a ne commodity.

To me Petrosian and Seniuk are interchangeable in terms of aesthetic and jump quality, too bad the scores won't reflect that.

From what I’ve heard what is easier depends on how you learn it and if you learn with arms over head that’s what is easier. But I can’t even do a bunny hop so.

Livia fell on 3Lo but better than I thought it would be. No pops that I feared and she's shown quite a lot of finesse on the ice, this might be enough for the Q. Biellmann Spin was very good.
