Dammit I knew I should have put Alysa first in my predictions, she always does this... takes advantage of mistakes with a lights-out program to win gold. Congrats to the podium, now I'm going to go have a really long bath in a dark room with a glass of wine to decompress after these Olympics. I'm pretty sure I've aged five years in two weeks.

I refused to do predictions because I am a jinx.

but once she left that out she was better off just sticking to the plan
too bad the second half combos left her no real backup

Will watch tonight if I have the courage of looking at Kaori crying. It breaks my heart. I love Alysa so I am happy for her too. I had ami un third in my preds so I was expecting her there. Bravo to Amber for climbing up so much.

PS... I don't know if that means I also won a gold medal. If I haven't, I'm pretty close.

I'm glad the judges gave her somewhat appropriate PCS. Imho only Kaori, Isabeau, and Mone are PCS queens but Ami's programs are uniquely empty. Alysa's skating isn't my favorite but you can't deny her steadiness. Wish Kaori won gold. Wish Amber got a medal but overall good competition.
