LOL! My trainer wife had cats.....they are not dogs but both can be clingy. You cannot fathom the things I am forced to do with my cat draped around my shoulders. I think in Ice Dance it's called "a scarf?"

Sometimes I have also seen the words "partner" or "sister" used. You cannot fathom the things I am forced to do with my cat draped around my shoulders. I think in Ice Dance it's called "a scarf?"
What a pity. I was looking forward to seeing Jason. Having said that, I love watching Jacob too.Jason is out and Jacob is in.
Max turned it down?!?! I was hoping Max would go if Jason didn't go.Jason is out and Jacob is
Oh well. I wonder how tired Jacob might be at Senior Worlds so soon after Junior Worlds. Jacob did pretty well at 4CC so we'll see what happens at Senior Worlds.there is no cutoff to w/d. Injuries, illnesses can happen even in the warm-up.Skaters are dropping like flies!! What is the cutoff of when someone can decide not to go, so that I know when to stop checking?!!
Jason is out and Jacob is in.

I wonder if he was thinking/planning this and had alerted folks earlier. Concerned for him and hope he is okay.
I hope he is OK. Last minute withdraws aren't like him.![]()
Tomoki announced his retirement immediately after US nationals.I'm still kind of sad that Tomoki wasn't chosen as first alternative for Worlds. AND I'm concerned that the US is going to fall to two spots for next year. Still, Andrew was top 12 at Olys so there's hope.
I think subs can be made until the draw is finalised?there is no cutoff to w/d. Injuries, illnesses can happen even in the warm-up.
however, at some point, it gets too late for a federation to send a substitute. With the event starting just in a few days, Jason's w/d is probably one of the last ones that would get a replacement.
No I think it was after 4CC.Tomoki announced his retirement immediately after US nationals.
I think so. The problem is that draws are done the day before the event... so if someone w/d that close unless it's the host nation, or a nation just next door, I don't see how they can get someone on a plane and ready for the event. I mean Skate Canada wants their skaters to have done at least two practices... so that means Monday for those competing WednesdayI think subs can be made until the draw is finalised?
It was right after he completed his free skate at 4CC. I'm still sad about this...No I think it was after 4CC.
If the USA fall down to two spots it simply means they don't need three.I'm still kind of sad that Tomoki wasn't chosen as first alternative for Worlds. AND I'm concerned that the US is going to fall to two spots for next year. Still, Andrew was top 12 at Olys so there's hope.
But that means the following year one less skater (who might deserve it) has the opportunity to go to Worlds. If the USA fall down to two spots it simply means they don't need three.
It also may mean that a skater from another country picks up that lost spot and deserves it too you knowTrue but that means the following year one less skater (who deserves it) has the opportunity to go to Worlds.
