Info is up for this year's tour which includes 27 cities. https://www.starsonice.com

Skaters listed so far are Alysa, Maddie & Evan, Ilia, Amber, Isabeau, Jason, and Ellie & Danny were just added yesterday. More skaters will be announced soon according to the web site.

MEET & GREET tickets for all locations are sold out.

STARGAZER PASS tickets are also sold and allow guests early entry to watch the skaters warm up on the ice prior to the show. A ticket to the show is required in order to purchase a Stargazer Pass. These sessions start 3-1/2 hours prior to the performance. Price is $25.

I wanted to list ticket prices but see that the prices vary quite a bit, depending on the venue.

There are a ton of resellers. I was looking at the different tickets and venues earlier: Boston for instance the tickets now range from 349 to 800 per ticket.

Well, I got scammed! I thought I was following a link to the official ticket seller but instead was taken to an unmarked Ticket reseller called Ticketcenter. Two tickets for section 109 row 5 were $438. (I havent bought tickets in years) So I got my email receipt and there was 109 row 5 but no seat numbers. The reciept said "Profesional Seller" . I chatted on line with probably an AI computer and told them I was going to dispute the purchase as there are no seat numbers and I just bought two seats in that row, same section for $121. Which I did and there are no seats left in that small corner row. They said their dispute team will contact me. I think I probably have lost my money but will dispute it with my credit card company. If nothing happens, I am wondering if I can sell them on a third party site?

Update: I called "TicketCenter" and got a real human. Her English was very good. About 80 percent. I told them I had been lied to by the AI chat bot that the $438 was the market price since 5 min after buying their tickets, I went to the real ticket seller, Tickets West, where I have an account. I paid as I said $121 with old person's discount and fees for the last two tickets in that short row. The person then offered a series of 50 dollar cash back and credit to future tickets. I said no, I would dispute. I eventually counter offered $300 cash back and a detailed instruction on how to sell their tickets, should they even come, two days before the event. I then found out this outfit doesnt even buy the tickets. They use a "Proffesional buyer" (good luck to THAT person since I bought the last two tickets). They put me on hold and said they would just cancel the order in 3-5 business days. We shall see.
1. Lessons learned. No matter what you are searching for, you have to be careful to avoid any google search sponsored results. Make sure you go right to the arena. I HATE electronic tickets but at least with Tickets west, you can download their app and your tickets will be there for screen shots.
2. There are alot of people out there trying to take advantage of old and ignorant people who are used to trusting Walter Cronkite.
3. Unfortunately, you have to learn to play hard ball with the scammers. It is clear this outfit didnt want to explain to my credit card bank how it sold tickets with no seat numbers and under false pretenses.
4. I have no idea why I am paying my feral govt reps if they dont cap the profit margin by these scammers,. as well as exclosing what they really are up front, like warning labels on consumer goods. least they are investigating Ticketmaster for forcing artists to use their venues.
edit: I got a confirmation email of the refund and it has shown up as pending on my cc. It is clear to me that this "business" doesnt want many people disputing their operation.

More Team USA was just announced to the SOI cast! Torgashev and Chan/Howe are now included on the list of skaters. I think I remember hearing that Kolesnik/Vadym wanted to be a part of SOI.. I think I would love the opportunity to see their Romeo and Juliet program in person and hoping they have the opportunity! It would also be cool to see Naumov, I really liked his gala program from the USA Olympic announcement but Im sure he'll be extremely busy w new sponsorships and running his parents' skating back home.

Which show are you going to? We are going to the Wenatchee, WA one. Saw SOI there in 2014 (I think it was that year). Last SOI saw I went to was in 2022 when they actually came to Boise, ID (my city). Is anyone else going to SOI this year?

We are doing the Spokane show. Wenatchee has a very nice facility. I have seen minor skating events there. I have friends in Boise and when I am traveling by motorcycle, I stopped there...but I dont come during rush hour. Spokane and Boise have become too big for their infrastructure.

I got an opportunity to speak with Alissa Czisny this past Friday after the Ice Dance International show. If you can attend, go see it.

I asked her if she and KB are working with SOI again, and she confirmed that they will be choreographing the group numbers and they will start rehearsing once she is done with IDI. She told me the show is selling like hotcakes, over 400K tickets so far across the US. They are shocked as they usually perform to half full arenas. I told her I got my tickets before the Olympics and she said that was a smart move. She's so down to earth and sweet. I'm glad I got the chance to speak with her!

New date:

April 24, Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Hmmmm.... (it's at night, Wilkes Barre is still a drive, but closer than anywhere else.....)

I went to the Orlando show. It was sold out. It was loud and it seemed the skaters were really enjoying the enthusiasm of the crowd. Ilia did four backflips in a row, which pleased the crowd. Amber received huge cheers. The little girl in front of me was a fan of Ambers’, as that is who she got the most excited to see.

I had terrible seats. I was in a corner section. They put a canopy over the skaters entrance, and I was behind that. My view was obscured, and the promoter overlayed their name on the screens when the skaters were skating.

The show itself was a blast, and it was great to see such a huge turnout, considering the local professional soccer team was playing at the same time.

Big presence on Facebook.. crowds look wonderful! I love the girls being referred to as the Blade Angels and audiences seem to love it 😍 The routines appear to be great fun and well done, especially the guys as a group; ilia gave a rose to a young lady in the audience during one number. He is getting lots of attention. Pace yourselves performers.. stay well, safe; have fun! 🤩

It was a great turnout and a terrific show. It's also fabulous that the skaters got to play at Universal Studios the next day.
