Fans who register in advance will receive access to the exclusive pre-sale phase before tickets become available to the public.
  • General Ticket Sale here – 27 May at 11:00 (Finnish time / 10:00 CET)
Ticket presale to those who registered before May 20th will be open 11 am Finnish time, UTC+3. To other it will be opened on Wednesday.

The prices are shockingly high, I knew it will not be cheap, but much more than I expected. thought I was so excited now I am not sure if to go or not.

After sleeping overnight I decided to go but will wait until daily tickets are on sale and probably go to balcony, maybe buy premium tickets for wednesday and/or thursday or buy only balcony tickets. I think balcony is better than the curve. I been on that arena only once and only thing I remember it was very cold, but it was September and probably heating was not yet on.

It has been so difficult buying tickets for Worlds. How is it that when you register for the presale and log in at the precise moment it opens, there are still no tickets nearer the front than row 14?? There were four groups of my friends trying to book independently and none of us got good seats, and some got no seats at all. Tickets appeared randomly and in between you just got a message that there were no tickets available. We are all very unhappy about the system and why so many good seats were not available even as the ticket sales opened Who has got all the seats before the booking opens.

There must be some technical issue. I do not believe they all were sold out just 15 minutes after sales should have been released, when I checked if there will be good places at the curve. Or then some japanese groups (I doubt it could have been anybody else) reserved everything just in one or two minutes already or there was only a few tickets available in the first hand. I already decided not to buy the most expensive all-events but was curious. Many people have been complaining not to get tickets through the link.

My friend got in ontime and there were only tickets from row 12 at the curve (mostly A1 and a few rows at A10 B1, B10), only a few rows in the back of A4, B5, B6 for premium.
Most of the members in my group chat said this was unacceptable for an all-event ticket and didn't reserve them.
I think Skating Finland didn't release the good seats for the pre-sale.

Yes, this is not starting well. Prices are very high even compared to Finnish standards and then there is nothing left when people are home from work. I suppose there was only one sector or two and some groups reserved everything at the first minute. I feel the pre-sale was like a joke. Well, I already decided to wait daily tickets as I cannot sit there many days in rows from morning to evening and decided to skip practices. I also will leave home at Sunday morning anyway. If I don't get any tickets then I don't but I doubt this will be outsold - if, then it could be Friday and Saturday. Or- I hope this is not true but I am a "overthinker" - the organizers saw the complain about the prices and they did not release many seats for pre-sale because of wanting to give an expression how fast pre-sale tickets were sold out.

People are saying hotel prices are hight on that time, but those are what they are here, have increased lately, though. At the best hotels there is never rooms under 100 €/night and average off-season price is 120-150 euros/night, if breakfast included. When there is some big happening - and in Tampere there is often something - it is not weird to pay even 300,-/night.

Edit: I have busy week i but if somebody opens info and prechat -thread I can give some tips later. We have now a GS-member who lives there, so let's hope it will help and she/he gives more tips.

Somebody had this though abot bots on Finland's fed's Facebook account. I made a search and found at least three different facebook pages with title "
ISU World Figure Skating Championships Finland 2027", but be careful, those are mostly fakes and be free to announce at social media that there are several fake pages named so. As a Finn it is easy to know by only looking the content that those are not real and of course they are fakes as there are many. One of those sites is advertising "all sold out" while local feds pages does not say a word about tickets being sold out or does not answer when people are asking, so I think the people at local fed are wondering also themselves what happened. I guess they are trying to find out, how it is possible.

The pricing was a mistake - and also weird. If there were more categories, it would have not been so easy for bots.

I have my thouhgts about how and why this might have happened, but so far it is only a guess and I keep it in my own head.

If seats in the lower rows were in the pre-sale, they were taken in a second. I got the seat map open at once and from the beginning only upper rows were available and not that many of them either. There was no seat map available during the general sale.

Skatingfinland does respond to messages in my experience but not to difficult questions, like why only one price for long sides etc. They will soon announce how the sales proceeds and now they realize that tickets are really wanted. I am really looking forward to see their next move. Personally I believe it is their selling strategy to release upper rows first.

If someone needs help, there is s very nice person responding in [email protected]

This is more interesting. I found it this: A travel agency offers all event balcony+hotel, or if you pay more you can get all event premium or curve.
I think somebody had advance to buy tickets before those were released for public. I wonder if the fed/organizers have offered this option to travel agencys all over the world to buy tickets even berofe "ordinary people" can buy those. Looks like only one travel agency in Finland has these offers. Sorry to say, but this need investigation.

Looks like a travel agency has reserved a lot of seats. It is interesting there is all event balcony packets in those hotel packets, but not all-event-balcony packets for those, who does not need hotel or have reserved some other accommondation than hotel/have already reserved the hotel/will go to another hotel. It must be so the organizers have made the contract and maybe the agency has been able to reserve so much they want. I am afraid they are thinking now how popular synchro has been - but they forgot two things: The synchro worlds were in smaller arena and synchro is super popular in Finland. If 70 % of synchro skaters buy a ticket and 60 % of them has family members and friends, let's say 3 each, it means, then coaches and other who are interested then already more than 60 % of the tickets are sold soon. I know people who watch only synchro, but not other types of FS. I think travel agency is already wondering, why there are so many packets free after a week when synchro was sold out in two hours. This is the reason, this is no synchro, reason 2: There is no Hanuy as last time so not so many Japanese as before, this can been already in GP with and without him. Plenty of Japans came only to see Yuzu, without Yuzu, less Japanese. Last year GP was popular becuase local people came because ticket prices were reasonable.

The ISU were short-sighted in hosting it in such a small arena. I criticised the choice of arena when they announced it. It's a strange choice of location as well a large town with limited accommodation/high prices, requiring multiple flights to arrive there. I don't know why anyone would bother

Don't forget that Prague had a 17,300 capacity, this has a 12,500 capacity. By they time they hand out free tickets to sponsors, cronies, etc that 12,500 probably becomes 9.500 available to the public. Exclude the VIP section maybe another 1k, travel packages maybe 2k, all event tickets 2-3k (I have no idea), there aren't many left over. Maybe some people re-sell their tickets when they realise it's not the easiest destination to travel to.

I assumed you could fly into Tampere, but I looked into it and it seems only Air Baltic go there via Riga and somewhere else (not many flights per week anyway). Seemingly most people will be flying to Helsinki and taking a 200km bus journey to Tampere. Wow, what a pain in the you know what. Why would the ISU do this to their long suffering fans? Are they getting kickbacks from the Tampere tourism board or something? Who wants to get off a flight then take a 200km bus journey, then another one to return to the airport when it's all over. Presumably all the skaters, coaches, etc do this too. They can't be too impressed by this.

I got a message presale for daily tickets will be opened to sale at 8th June. I chatted with AI and it wondered that best places are not yet in sale because it is not known where cameras will be. Interesting view, but it is AI's sight. They are telling that tickets were sold out very fast, but they do not admit that there were only few available, but it must have been so. It is not possible that everybody saw only some invidual seats just a seconds after sales were opened.

What I found weird is that there are all-event-balcony tickets available, but only if you take a hotel+ticket package from a travel agency. Throuhg travel agency is also possible to buy "premium" seats but I found out from other discussion, that those were not very near the rink.

Edit: I think I will wait in peace if there is something on sale later. I don't believe all tickets from black markets or travel agencys will be sold out. If so, then it is so. I can stay home, after the mess it is not big deal not to go. But definetely not I will buy anything from black market.

Meat and Greet is removed from the schedule, there is only "show". That word can include anything.

VIP tickets are on sale now, but those are only for groups of 2 or 4 people if I understood right. I am not interested (=I am not that rich and I will be there alone if I will) so I read the announcement only quickly.

There is a Day Ticket Combo (same seats Wednesday-Saturday) included on the Day Ticket page:

This amounts to an all-event ticket without the Practices and "Show" and infuriates me. Why are they not selling more all-event tickets instead of Combos? A rhetorical question--they likely think they can make more money. The premium combo will cost 1250 Euros based on the Day ticket prices. Who knows how many of these Combos will be released and how far back the seats are. Are they trying to drive prospective buyers crazy?

This is the least transparent and most shady OC I've ever dealt with--and I've been bought my own Worlds tickets every year since 2010.

The good news is, if there will be a decent amount of Combos available, the purchase can be accomplished with one transaction rather than four.

Yes. I am disappionted. I am just waiting what else they are going to mess up.

Those VIP packages are in the restaurant. There are no seats taken off because of that. Some of those does packages does not include seats, people who buy one, have they seat on the restaurant. The restaurant is there all the time, during all events, durin any kind of events: concerts, hockey etc. and during times there are no events, it is a normal restaurant on the arena. I understood that some VIP packages include also seats, but the tables are on the restaurant and also other people can go to that restaurant if there is room, I suppose, but only for the time they need eating. It would be weird if they would not like to have there also people who go alone and want to eat - well I know it will be expensive, because the restaurants by same owner are in other towns, also Tampere has another one outside of the rink and it is expensive.

At least fans have been listened, there should a 4-day-combo ticket on sale when daily tickets will be on re-sale Monday 8th (edit: to registered fans on Monday) and to non-registered 10th Wednesday. It took me for a while to undestand what is difference with all-event, but the difference should be that all-event includes show, combo not. So the combo is in fact all-event-competition-days ticket. I did not yet find the price and I am not able to be online at 11 am local time (probably sitting in a car or driving), so if I do not get ticket then I don't, but I try et the evening if there is anything in reasonable price.
(And I edited again, because the resale starts on Monday)

And one more edit: I suppose the combo ticket price is the same as daily tickets would for four days. So it is 1240 euros at lower seats, same price all and 390 at balcony, and at curve 665 € (I guess curve and balcony will be sold out first if there is anything left) no idea if Thuesday's practice is included or is it +20 € more to this prices with Thuesdays balconys. I would like to wish there were given mor accurate information.

Well I spend money after all and bought combo tickets for competition days. I did not get balcony as I planned and looks like almost nobody did get. I tried to get curve and managed to pick place, but the system said no available and when I tried again there were no seats any more. Well next time I tired the premium seats I found a seat I liked but then there was a technical issue, this time it was because of my e-mail's fault (byiing tickets by cell phone when sitting in a car is not the best situation - and no, I did not drive on that time). So next I decided the system can give me a seat and fortunately I got a seat I am quite pleased to. I checked a couple of hours ago, there were curve tickets for wednesday - did not check more daily tickets - and still plenty of combo premium seats. So there was not many all-event-seats at the first hand as everybody thought and traveling agency still have balcony seats+hotel combos, so the organizers allow it take quite (=too) much of the cheapest seats.
