No Piper and Paul as well (as expected).
Alison and Saulius are there (interesting, she has camp in Japan in September.
Stellato-Dudek/Deschamps and Kam/Oshea out.
Danilova/Tsiba, Liu/Bedard, Kovalevs in.

I'm glad that Japan have two TBD spots in ice dance at NHK, so likely three JPN teams will be there.

Interestingly, none of the new US pairs got selected by hosts, so only two TBD at Skate America are an option for them.

Glad that there's Jason Brown. No Guignard/Fabbri whyyyy😭😭😭. Is there a chance to see the ice dance couple with Shoma Uno?
They can get TBD for NHK but it's very uncertain as there are other more experienced teams like IkuKo and RikaShin. So it depends on JFS criteria. The rules say skaters should be on 75 SB list from last season (ShoMArin obviously aren't) but "should" is not equal to "have to" and there were already cases when this criterium was not met. Also, theoretically Shoma counts as come-back skater (same as Rika) although in completely different discipline so who knows if it applies. There are some imprecise wording but I believe if JFS decides to sign them (or RikaShin), it shouldn't be a problem.

Milla and Nikolaj first GP - they got Finlandia :love4: :love4:

I´m also assuming @CaroLiza_fan will be happy to see that Sofia and Asaf got Skate America!

I´m surprised to not see Marjo and JB? I thought they get one from the comeback rule or something?

Wooops I missed them, they got NHK so then only one?
But there is a vacant spot at SC. I'm sure it will go to them if they are even in remotely decent shape.

Thank you for information.
Surprise at whose in.
Didn't i read on skating forums that Denis Vasiljev wasn't skating in this upcoming gp . Stated alas no denis vasiljev
That peira and michaud broke up / split
That rules no number 1 and 3 of world can be used unless they put ilia in as 8th rank at olympic.
Read when I was in Cincinnati that somehow senior grand prix got stop due to not enough skaters and other issues.

As stated initial list.
Ilia can change mind

Sofia and Asaf are doing France, not SkAm...

I am absolutely delighted that they are getting this opportunity! Of course, I would be even happier if it was two, but one is a start.

I know I'm biased, but I have a feeling that Sofía and Asaf could surprise a few people.

And I am happy to see that Camille and Pavel are continuing on. Because they have improved so much since they started working with Bruno Massot. I just hope they are fully fit. It was concerning seeing Pavel absolutely shattered after every programme last season.

Also, I like the way that they are going back to the NHK. Exorcise the demons of what happened last year to Camille.

And, of course, Emilea and Vadym have two assignments. It's a shame that neither of their assignments are in Europe. But, hey.

To be honest, I don't really get excited about the Senior GP's any more. I'm more interested in the Junior GP's and the Challengers nowadays.

Wow... decimated Canadian team as expected with retirements.
No Max and Deanna.
No Piper and Paul
No Roman.
Then, all the splits meaning that only one team that is recently formed got a GP. I am assuming they may get the host spot (LaBa)
Surprised to see Jazzy and Kiki on the GP instead of JGP but at the same time, the new rule is helping them a bit as they can do 2a-2a and I guess they will have a place holder 2 double until they do learn a triple jump.
The only discipline where things are good are women. Gabby Daleman and Sarah-Maude are on the circuit with Maddie and Fée Ann got a host spot so I am happy.
PS as predicted, assignments would get out by the end of the week so I won my bet and I don't need to change my avatar..... yet :)
