Can't believe Lorraine is now 27. It only seems like yesterday that she and Quinn were competing in Juniors.

Former Singles skater Megan Morley (GBR). Here is her Rink Results Bio.
Megan is unfortunately one of those skaters whose career was ended by the outbreak of the pandemic. She made her Senior level debut in February 2020 at Skate Southern, which turned out to be the last domestic event before lockdown, and hasn't competed since. The last time she competed internationally was in 2015. Her best international result was 6th out of 21 in Advanced Novices at 2014 Skate Celje.
Megan's best finish in the British Championships was 6th out of 24 in Advanced Novices in November 2014. But she did get onto the podium in other domestic events.

In the news: Anastasia Mishina has married her boyfriend, Andrey Pushnyakov, a physical education teacher and basketball coach, whom she met via mutual friends. 
Since this is a recent thread, it hasn't been mentioned here yet, but popular former Uzbekistani competitive men's skater and choreographer, Misha Ge, married former South Korean women's skater, Park So-youn in a beautiful wedding that took place in Seoul, South Korea, in February 2025. Misha was born in Moscow. His mother is Russian and his father has Chinese and Korean heritage.

I wonder if Lorraine is still interested in pursuing a competitive ice dance career.
Supposedly, she had been seeking a new partner for a while after splitting with Anton Spiridonov. Possibly, her interest in competing waned. She has known Pierre since they were young competitors. Maybe they reconnected at some point when she was still exploring her competitive skating career vs coaching options. And then, apparently a romance was sparked. 
Unless they were dating off-and-on all along.Pierre stopped skating competitively with his 3rd partner, Julia Wagret, after the 2021-2022 season (prior to Wagret, he skated with Lorenza Alessandrini; his first partner was Péroline Ojardias). Meanwhile, after Quinn Carpenter retired due to injuries in early 2020, Lorraine partnered with Anton Spirodonov during the height of the pandemic off-season. They competed for 3 1/2 seasons before Lorraine announced their split in late 2023. By this point, Pierre was coaching. Apparently, when they got together romantically, becoming skating partners was not on their agenda. Not to say it couldn't ever be.
In any case, though, in checking out the photo gallery on their wedding registry site, it seems to me that skating together is the furthest thing from their minds. Perhaps coaching together is more likely. Lorraine seems to be over-the-moon happy in the photos. The unfolding of her life off-ice may have led to her leaving partner searching and competitive skating yearnings behind.

I absolutely loved the McNamara/ Carpenter ice dance partnership.
️ They had their greatest successes as juniors. When they became seniors, the going was tough due to the talented depth at the top in U.S. ice dance. And then, they faced injury struggles, which ultimately led to Quinn's retirement. They won a GP bronze in Finland during 2018 - 2019 season. I recall they had a gorgeous FD. In general, I felt their scores were held back as seniors. It was difficult timing for Lorraine & Quinn all-around, as staying junior for their third season (after two, stellar junior championship seasons) had led to some bad luck results prior to them finally turning senior. I will always remember them fondly. Their best performances are still so watchable.
