What program premieres are you looking forward to?

All the new partnerships! I want to see what all this spin and rinse leaves us. What do these new pairings bring out of the individuals that we did not see in their old ones.

DOI 2026 brought a lot of spoilers, so here is what programs I'm anticipating now.

Both pieces choreographed by Kana Muramoto, for Sota and for Kao. I've been watching her growth as an artist and as a choreographer. So, I'm absolutely curious what the new season will bring.

IkuKo and UtaMasa Rhythm Dances. Last season, the short programs of Cathy Reed camp teams stood out as a breath of fresh air. I wonder if they can maintain the same impression this year.

Mone's Bond program. Wakaba's Skyfall program of 2018 was great. If More does a remake, good. If she adds something original, even better.

I have mixed feelings regarding Yuna Aoki. I really liked her collaborations with Alex Johnson and Misha Ge. Shae-Lynn Bourne feels like a bit of a letdown. I know, I know, she's a top choreographer and Yuna probably saw this as an opportunity. But, if you work with a top choreographer, you may find yourself on the bottom of their client list. So, I don't know... but I need to see anyway.

I think Por una cabeza suits Ami's skating style, hence I'm rather anticipating this program... even though it's a tango.

I still don't know what to expect from Mao Shimada's program but I want to find out. Same for Rio Nakata.

Then, of course, there's Kazuki Tomono. This apparently goes without saying because of his performing abilities but this lesser known song by Queen is so perfect... It has elation, it has drama, it has everything except it's a little short even for the short program so the only question mark is about that (does he use a remix?). Otherwise, my expectancy is sky-high.

ETA: This needs update because I watched videos from DOI, thanks @tsuyoboogie !
So, what I expect in future:
Kazuki, Sota, Kao - I expect them to receive standing ovation whenever and wherever they skate these programs;
Mone, Rio - Wakaba did it better and Junhwan did it better but Wakaba and Junhwan are now into something else, so I'm anticipating seeing these programs in the current field - and I certainly liked the dose of personal character that Mone and Rio invested in this material;
Yuna - as frustrating as I expected but the season is young and Yuna is a skater who needs time to develop her performance. I'll follow fingers crossed🤞
I think this is my favorite Mao's program of all time.
Not my favorite Por una cabeza cover for Ami but otherwise it's about what I expected.
Dancers: Libertango and Dance Macabre themes are pretty warhorse so this part was frustrating a bit. Otherwise, programs seem suitable to them and form a good foundation for future work. It will be interesting to watch how they progress thorough the season.

I think the one program that really caught my eye was Kao Miura's SP yet again. I hope he works on the movement and musicality behind it, because it has massive potential. Wish he'd gone and stolen Takahashi's music altogether, not just the opening/first half, it's a bit jarring to me that the sensuality vanishes in the second half.

I'm very interested in what Shun will do with Czardas in a couple of months. Could be great, could be underwhelming.
I can't wait to see what Amber has prepared. She always brings something unique, at least in short.
Minkyu and Rio are both on my list, as two rising stars.
And I don't know who is doing choreo for Adam Siao Him Fa (I mean, we could guess it's Benoit; I would actually pay money to make Adam work with anyone else, but I don't think it's happening), but I'm excited nonetheless for his usual chaos and I'll take whatever he brings.
As for skaters less known - Daiwei Dai. I love the guy, love his knee action and flow and I hope for a program that compliments his best qualities.

Regarding the Czardas, I think that some bases are there but it's so complex that on a smaller rink it must have been unfeasible, particularly so early in the season. I don't know if he competes at Kinoshita, his first Grand Prix is Cup of China.

I looked into Programs by Discipline thread - it's a very depressing thread, it's like horseshoe clicking all the time with cohorts of said creatures preparing to stomp over every creativity - but I found there two new names in the choreo section to look forward to:

Tara Prasad Fs: Ponniyin Selvan soundtrack (Karikalan’s Remorse, Oo Rey Sooriyare, Life at Lanka, Veera Raja Veera) by A.R. Rahman, choreo by Tara Prasad
Sena Miyake FS: Ghost The Musical; choreo by Koshiro Shimada
