That music cut was done well? I must have artistically poor taste because to my ears the cuts sounded rough...

@Ichatdelune see... I find here that the waltz was only used to do the pattern and not integrated properly... and surrounded by two pieces in 4/4... that is jarring to my ear.

So you gauge music cuts not by how the melody flows but by tempo? To my untrained ear the cut sounded normal (not smooth per se but heard commonly enough)

this season, yes. metric changes will matter to me. It's usually more multifactorial.

Because during the first piece of music in particular, I got the impression that they were not skating in time to the music. That they were out there doing their own thing with the music just playing in the background.

But, that might just be my untrained eye.
