Happy for Laura Unfortunately, I had to miss her skate--too much going on here. I was rooting for Laura at this event, from the beginning. I am also very impressed with Leonova, now.

if the judges hadn't deliberately held down Kostner bot in the short (with the level 1 spiral) and in the long....

Wow! they are saying right now on tv that the italian fed is filing complaint that the udges canceled on of Kostner's spins (They made one of the one position spins a combo spin)

Unfortunately for Carolina, she blew her chance at a 3-peat in the SP. Lepisto was the short program winner and Kostner did place above her in the LP, but even Carolina didn't have her usual technical difficulty in this LP.

Kostner lost it in the short, but go and see her spiral sequence and count the seconds. IT IS A LEVEL 4. With 3 points more (53) she would be the champion already. Plus, now they just said that they did not count one of kostner's spins (not even in the pdf) it seems like the computer did not registered.
