well they did not skate that poorly. fact is that when the top teams skate well, dube and davidson aren't one of the top teams. They did not fall apart.

on a side note, this is great. everybody is skating so well. There really must be something in the air in LA.
K/S's sbs triple jumps were some of the best I've ever seen from a pair team- both really high and light. She especially seemed to jump as high as he did- which is unusual for a female pair skater- usually the female pair skater is just barely making the rotation in the jump.

I'm glad Yuko and Alex did well. They really were robbed at Euros after the SP. What are their new costumes like?

I noticed that too, she was so high in the air, perfect 3 rotations. Amazing, especially since she is so tiny and so thin.
I agree that it seemed very low at Euros. Their costumes are... Well, imagine Maks exhibition costume - just mostly black, that would be Sashas's costume. And Yuko has a pretty white dress, essentially the former tutu costume, just without tutu and all flowing.

I agree. They are a team that needs to rely on others to make mistakes.
Were they known for any meltdown in LP??

No, they don't often have major mistakes. But S/S usually beats them when both skate clean.

Yes, for both Russian teams.
I really like them both. 
Thrilled to hear they both skated well in the SP, and I can't wait to watch it televised on Oxygen.
They did skate poorly, too many small mistakes, the jump, the twist, the spin, the death spiral...all had problems...they added up.
Well, they didn't even make it to the final flight...total disappointment.
