Mens' LP

I like this Italian guy's music and costume, that's something I would wear if I were a skater.

Frankly, I'm not expecting a great, 100% clean skate from Joubert.

Lysacek, on the other hand, can do a nice semi-clean.

It feels like I'm watching 3:10 to Yuma but without Christian Bale. <3

Does that triple toe count in his botched 3A combo? He did take too many turns for it to be even a sequence.

It was actually one long three turn, so I think it will count as a flawed combo?

For me its the Quads, I want to see HUGE quads and BIG technical jumps, double jumps are for Junior skaters so to reward Patrick for 'playing it safe' is sad to me., I want to see two quads and 8 triples IN EVERY PROGRAM, and Joubert brings that.

Well then he better bring all that tonight I guess...

Did I mention how outrageously overscored Chan is? I mean this is corrupt judging at its worst.

Not likely Patrick will win, but I'm kinda glad - I don't want a teenager to have to have that kind of pressure (and curse) going in to the Olympics in his home country.

That said, I won't be sad if he DOES end up winning though...

So far a well skated (in general) event, which was my big wish.

I think at this moment, winning or not is not important. I'm so glad he skated well, that's more important! I still he got robbed for at least 4-5 points in the shorts. But whatever, I'm happy, he didn't disappoint Canada.
