Yep - he has mentioned acting - in fact had a bit part in an indy film - Skate Great - a while back.

Psycho :scratch: - now that I think of it, in these pix he does have bit of the look of Christian Bale!

I'll say. I never thought of evan as one of the figure skating hotties but these pictures are wow.

I tend to dislike modeling stuff because of its over-the-top nature, and this is no exception. I think these photos are awkward and on the ridiculous side. The ones on his website aren't as bad, but I guess I'm just not a modeling fan.

I just hope they paid Evan a lot.

I have a cousin who did some modeling after college, and even in his early twenties he had a hard time competing with the 16-18 year olds. Evan is 23-24, so he is approaching the end of the typical model age range. Won't Tyra not take anyone older than 25?

Not necessarily for this agency. Check out some of the other portfolios there. Seem to be some even in the 30s.

There was a remake of Psycho directed by Gus Van Sant a decade ago. It was an exact shot-by-shot duplicate of the original. It was in color. If they were do a yet another sequel or a prequel I think Evan would be perfect, if he could act.

I think Evan looks really uncomfortable in these pics. He photographs really well. I think he needs to find a modeling persona that is more natural for him. I don't think edgy suits him.

I tend to agree - I think classic might be a better look. He knows his own style and does best when he callls the shots - i.e. in costumes for instance. (think Rhapsody here. )

But it's great he's willing to stretch the envelope and try for something new and different. Shows a great deal of self-assurance imo.

Good ol' Ty-Ty will definitely not do that for the ladies (e.g., Celia from Cycle 12), but in general male models last a whole lot longer, especially in catalog work where a whole bunch of them are over 30. And that's fine by me since seeing Evan on the runway to Galliano or Gaultier is the fashion equivalent of the apocalypse...

Well,....these pictures definitely explain some things.

He looks good...but I think I liked him more before I saw these pictures. You know, his skating. Good for him though...
