Senior Ladies Free

One of the team members needs to be from Canada, though.

Jessica isn't doing well. Not to sound churlish, but I'm almost glad - I'd rather the top five skaters be ... well, single skaters.

ks, I think Canada should send a mass invite to every Japanese ladies skater!

Oh, that makes a lot of sense! Thanks for the clarification!

Myriane Samson
Great skate for her! 3lp, 3f, 3lp/2lp/2lp, 3 lz (hand), 3f/2t, 3sal, 1a
She has improved so much over the years. Great expression and much more relaxed skating than I have seen in the past. Nicely packaged too!

157.82 - 1st overall

Great to hear that Myriane did well, I was rooting for her! Can't wait to see videos on youtube.

Amelie Lacoste
One of my favourite skaters, I saw her win juniors and became a fan. Not everything worked out today... a bit tense
2a-2a sequence, 3lp/2lp, 2lz, 2f, 3t/2t, 3sal, 3lp
100.86
151.72 - 2nd overall

lol not that I don't appreciate the updates, but why do we always have multiple people updating at the same time? it might be more efficient/clear with just one person. just saying! :)

I really appreciate the updates - jumps/scores (wish I could watch, but the pbps bring the comp to life)!!

The suspense is gone from this event. Myrianne Samson was too far back in the SP to pose a serious threat to Phaneuf. Cynthia can pretty much sit down on both of her Lutzes and still win this. Aside from that, no Joannie perfect 7 triple LP a la 2005, 2009, and 2010.

^^ Whose scores? Has Phaneuf skated yet or is she having to be delayed due to the prior skater's scores?

Alexandra Najarro
lots of potential, good fight, has nice posture at times wish she would maintain it!
