Highest Total Scores of The Season

It still knocks me out that there's something in skating that can be quantified like this! I'll be able to hold my own with tennis and baseball fans from now on. (Instead of "Oh, you like skating. How cute.")

It'll be really interesting to see whether these scores are reflected in the standings at Worlds, or whether the slipperiness of ice will be the deciding factor.

I'm just too lazy, but I would like to see a listing of all the seasonal Comps by their individual scores and then averaged out to see who really is showing the most positive batting averages. Sorry, but I do not see one Comp as a definitive answer as to who has the 'best' score.

AVERAGES
Patrick Chan: 242.16

Florent Amodio: 223.3366667
Tomas Verner: 222.5733333
Brian Joubert: 216.65

The other thing you could look for is improvement over the course of the season. Here are Patrick Chan's results.

Liberty 228.76
Skate Canada 239.52
Cup of Russia 227.21
GP Final 259.75
Nationals 285.55

By a least sqares regression model (r = .86), his score at Worlds should be 288.30.

Still sucks that the skater with the 3rd highest score this season isn't representing the USA.
