Senior Ladies Free Skate at 7:00 pm EST.

Agnes is disappointed, BUT the good thing is she's not devastated...all those mistakes were silly, but she'll be back for sure.

Congratulations to Ashley Wagner! She wasn't bragging in the fluff pieces, this championship was hers to lose, and she just won it.

We need a poll on which commentator is the biggest jinxer.

Gotta be Hamilton, IMO. I tuned in late tonight, but I always cringe when I hear him wax on about skaters (especially Alissa, I think).

Sad for Agnes, but wow has she got a future. I see her ending up in 4th.

Congrats Ashley, I'm so glad the day has finally come!

Agnes needs a 120.97. She gets a 107.86.

ASHLEY WAGNER IS THE NEW US WOMENS FIGURE SKATING CHAMPION! 'BOUT DAMN TIME!

Wow, Caroline so close to the bronze here.

Good try from Agnes, but it's best that Alissa go to Worlds. It would've created a very strange situation had she won.

I'm sooo happy Alissa gets to go to worlds. Congrats on her gold. I agree they need to consistently send the same people to worlds to get a good rep.

Ashley Wagner, US Champion? Caroline Zhang, less than ONE POINT FROM BRONZE?

Is this real life?

Lovely that Zhang is in fourth, and that Rachael made it up to sixth.

Wonderful for Ashley to be the champion.

yup, it looks that way. But, despite the falls, this really is a huge deal for Agnes and man, she can jump. I mean she can really, really jump. It's awful when a good jumper makes jump mistakes. But, with another year, and some experience, I bet those mistakes wont' happen again. I mean, she can really jump. And, she has great posture and lovely expression.

Agnes is going to be someone to beat in the next few years.

So happy for Ashley, it turned out to be her nationals to lose.

The US ladies might just get 3 spots back with Ashley and Alissa going to worlds...

Congrats to the 3 As and Caroline (difference between 3rd and 4th is small...Caroline is really back if she keeps it up!)

so was Caroline top 3 in the FS?

I am sooooo curious about the international assignments after this event.

I'm so happy for Ashley! Yippy Hurray! I'm also ecstatic for Caroline and for Rachel.

Heart breaks a little for Alissa, but, since it looks like she will be on worlds team, there's a lot to be done still this season, and by gosh, I wish her the very best and hope she gets at least one more comp this year (and, really I hope she continues next year).

I feel this is a huge accomplishment for Agnes and maybe, hopefully, the right kind of nudge she needs to figure out how to compete consistently because she was so close.

And, really and truly I hope if Mirai wants to skate that she does and finds that right combo of music and xxxx whatever it is to help her through the problem of overthinking or nerves or whatever while competing.

Christina Gao is 5th once again. Looking at the judges score, why did Caroline get so many -GOE on her first element? Her 3F was only a step out. I really thought she was going to win bronze because of Agnes' unraveling FS
