Where to watch the 2026 World Figure Skating Championships

Probably a good rule for volunteers....especially gate guards. No "I love Kaori " body banner.....(I have pics of Forum members telling Japanese skaters where to go.. LOL!)

Not in the US but I’ve been using the same connection in the opposite direction (getting US/CA yt from Europe).

Most streaming services allow using them abroad while travelling, so if I want to avoid issues when I need it for multiple days, i’d just use it in a different location throughout the period without switching to the home location. But in general, working around geolocation is a constant game of whack-a-mole, you never know when they’re gonna hit the loophole you’re trying to peek through. 🤣

Love your analogy.! IIRC I tried to use Peacock with Proton on my phone at Sea on a Dutch ship using their Starlink internet, but failed for some reason. Just right now, I have Proton on my phone, so I turned it on to the Neatherlands and I could use youtube, till I tried to watch the ISU channel GP final...then I got the screen of death. :scratch2:
 
I am going to give up on Proton for now. I buy it month to month. Maybe if someone tells me they have figured out a work around with the ISU youtube channel, I will try it next fall.
Edit: Once again, Proton did not recognize my email to log in but I was able to log in using my user name, and cancel April. And once again, they did send me a confirmation to my email address!!!!! I did tell them that the ISU youube channel blocked me cause they or youtube detected their VPN server /and or me using a VPN on my laptop and phone.

No tiles yet on Peacock? At least I found out I had to connect my Roku to my new router. Never change routers. 4 fones, 3 lap tops, a tv, a roku..Hope there is nothing else I forgot....
 
No tiles up on Peacock. And when you log in, at the top of the page click sports. Then scroll down to the second row and look at the far left circle that reads ALL SPORTS. Click it, and a list of all the sports will pop up. Figure skating doesn't exist.

The link https://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/winter/figure-skating/streaming-schedule has the complete streaming schedule. As in the past, the link to the live stream appears on this page when the event begins. So you can use this one page to both print out the schedule and find the live streams.

The times are given in your time zone, but may be messed up if you use a VPN (may default to your virtual location instead of your actual one). Fortunately, the time zone used is shown at the top of the page!

Hey there! Nice of you to remember where I am and thanks for the invite 😛
Your links seem to be working but it takes a looong time to upload. For some reason the ISU has decided to keep us here in the ROI in the suspense till the last. Hope all goes well tomorrow! The worlds is the only ray of hope in the middle of that awful weather we get and a flu that I can’t shake off for second week in the row. Thanks again! 🙏🏻
 
I am happy for anyone who can use the links to the ISU channel! I gave up on Proton cause youtube blocks my access with MY VPN.
Peacock for me I guess. I may try the embedded Chrome VPN just for "fun". If anyone is watching the ISU channel, I would watch quick in case an event gets taken down by a music company like the did for the Japan Highschool comp day 4. 🤬
