Yep. Every two groups, they have to zamboni the ice (if they don't there'll be too many ruts from all the skating and it can get bad)

Oh I didn't know they didn't zamboni for every group. Are the even numbered groups at a bit of a disadvantage then, since the ice would be "worse" after two warm-ups and a whole group's programs? I guess it wouldn't affect the skaters at this level though lol.

Wrong again, Belinda. She's the oldest of the 3 15 year olds. Birthday in March '98, while Polina is May '98 and Julia is June '98.

yay polina!! Does anyone else think the younger korean skaters all seem to be imitating yuna kim? I guess it's only natural to want to imitate their national idol, but it bothers me, like they are all going to be cookie cutter skaters.

Yes, the Korean skaters have the same style as Yu-na.

British commentator said Yuna did not have a good warmup, I think the other skaters were getting in her way. But she nailed her 3Lz-3T absolutely cracking right at the end.

I don't know if I'd call it a "disadvantage" since freshly zamboni'd ice can actually be a disadvantage due to being more slippery, I'd think. But they have to clear it at some point.

Well I think at least one of them - Haejin - trains with one of Yuna's old coaches (who she still works with), and also I think I saw the three girls all get ballet lessons together in a Korean documentary.
