Tatiana Volosozhar & Maxim Trankov

@mttvonice, thank you so much for taking the time to capture and post all of these! It's great to have them saved. :)

Can you see the longer documentary by going to the home page? It's currently the first post.

You're welcome, skatefan02!

I'm afraid that even with the link you posted, all I get is a screen grab of the Chinese flag, then it goes blank and tells me "Video failed to load" :p Thanks for trying though!

Fortunately though, I AM able to watch the video right below that of Max doing the "gangnam style" dance  OMG I love him LOL

He's just so damn hilarious
But in the interview when he said that they might date after the Olympics she had to keep herself from really laughing as if saying 'Yeah right after the Olympics' ;)

mttvonice, I see that you solved the video problem. I was about to say I can send you the video.

For those that live in US I suppose you can see this video from NBC V/T FP:

At the end when they see the result after skating to Jesus Christ Superstar, Max leans into Tanya and says something that I think means "All" or "Everything".
I wasn't sure why he says it until I saw one interview after they realized they would get the gold, that they are now absolute champions in every competition, so I suppose this "All" means they finally finished the collection of gold medals and now have it all.

Aww thank you! This is such a great thread :)

I agree about Tanya struggling not to laugh! She was obviously amused by Max's responses -- contradiction at its finest  She did her best to save the day with her "sports family" comment, and Max seemed relieved that she said it. And my goodness was he ever cute when he repeated it after her

Thanks for posting that, eli60056! I hope everyone IS able to see it, because this was how we saw their Olympic long program and "kiss & cry" in the States, along with an edit at the end of the video that abruptly adds the part of the broadcast that is my "V/T backstage 3" video LOL. I hadn't tried to post their actual performance on my Vimeo account because I think it's too long for what I'm allowed, and I was also afraid that if anything would get taken down, it would be that. So again, thank you, eli60056. I'm guessing the part you were talking about when Max leans into Tanya is the part where he closes his eyes and leans his head into hers. That's one of the best parts for me :)

What do people think Max will do in the future? What becomes of him after this wonderful achievement of Olympic gold?

Is he planning to skate shows, then coach? Does he have an education and we should look for him to move on successfully to other careers?

Such a personality. Would seemingly be many possibilities.

I found some WONDERFUL fanvideos, I wish there were more of these out there

Does anyone know if I can the bits 0:09, 3:42 and 4:04 somewhere?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kPL6iuraX2U

Can I find 1:06, 1:17-1:22, 2:05 and 2:52-2:53 somewhere (I´m sure I´ve already seen some of them but I don´t remember )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pfDCSQoft0Q

From the first video, 3:42 and 4:04 are in the CBC broadcast of the 2013 Worlds LP.

From the second video, 1:06 looks like the 2012-2013 Grand Prix Final gala from Eurosport. 1:17-1:22 seems to be from Art on Ice. 2:05 is from the 2013 NHK Trophy LP. 2:52-2:53 seems to be from the 2012 Cup of Russia (Rostelecom) LP.

Hope that helps a bit. :)

I think he and Tanya are eventually planning to open a skating school. Max likes to choreograph, and he choreographed a program for a junior girl from Latvia (?) recently.

Speaking of which, somehow I stumbled upon this clip of Max & Tanya giving a master class to kids in Krasnodar in April 2013.

Tanya skating with that little boy is sooooo adorable!
(Like I said, I am patiently waiting for the little Max/Tanya babies.  )

I know Tanya said she wanted boys because her family is all girls, but I am also thinking that's probably better for Max's sake. If they had a little girl, I think Max would be completely useless at disciplining her--she'd totally be his little princess! ;)

I can see it now...

Max: Now, darling, Mama said you can't have any more cake because you already had two slices..
Daughter: But I want more cake! [pouts]
Max: [already starting to cave] But Mama said no...
Daughter: But Mama's not here now! Please, Papa, pleeeaasee!! [gives him puppy dog eyes]
Max: [totally melts] Ok! Quick! Before Mama comes back!

Later Tanya comes back and sees their daughter and Max covered in frosting after devouring the whole cake...

Guys! just found the Victory Ceremony of the Worlds 2012 (never seen that before anyone of you?)
And they're so cute there too.

Yes!! I was going to post this, but you beat me to it, orangella96!
I just love how the person who is filming is recording the flags being raised--and then suddenly realizes that what Max & Tanya are doing are way more interesting! No attempt to hide it at 8:15!! Max totally has his arms wrapped around Tanya! The contrast between them and the other pairs is so funny!

And then at 8:58 when Max puts the medals up by Tanya's ears, and then rests his chin on top of her head. Awww!

And 12:22 when they hold their medals up next to each other...so much cuteness!!

Here are some random pics I found...

Anyone know what this is from? Was there a performance, or just a photoshoot? They look lovely!

And I have no idea where this is from (an AOI show, maybe?), but Stephane is wearing Max's Romeo costume (the top part, at least), and they are all dying of laughter!

ETA, oh and a random interview link--with Galina Kukhar, one of Tanya's former coaches in Ukraine when she was skating with Stas.
http://winter.sport.ua/news/124013
Apparently Galina Kukhar's first coach was Nina Mozer's mom, and now Nina herself is coaching Tanya/Max! What an interesting coincidence!

And in 12:14 he attempts to take hold of her medal only to realize how inappropriately close to her chest his hand will go and gives up the attempt, but the familiarity with which he would have done it speaks louder than words.
Then the careful handling of her on the ice and the chivalry always gets to me.

Ahaha, yes I noticed that as well, but I wasn't sure how to phrase it as nicely as you did--thanks eli60056!

And I agree, I totally squeeee when I read about or see Max being so totally devoted to his precious queen!
