2014 Worlds - Short Dance

Every single competitor decided to withdraw so they had the flower girls and boys come out and skate their programs instead

Bobrova's posture is just so disgusting that I assumed most skating fans had to leave the room when she stepped on the ice.

It's ok though. I'm probably the only super fan of the Lithuanians because Isabella Tobias' facial expressions are so life-giving.

I Adore Isabella. She's such a diva. She's like Sally Bowles in Cabaret. The talent isn't quite at the level of the performance, but the performance is so engaging....

ETA: Yay! They're through. We get another dose of Isabella at her vivacious best.

Hey back! I've been busy with job stuff so haven't had time to post here as much.

Isabella is fun to watch. I wonder why she dyed her hair darker though. It's ok darker, but I think I liked it better the other way.

OMG yes! Sally Bowles is a perfect comparison. She just goes out there and skates like she knows she is the best in the world, even as she is struggling to get those twizzles around. It is endlessly fascinating.

Guignard and Fabri continue to lead in the WORST MUSIC CUTS IN ANY DISCIPLINE category. I think they just threw all the "audience tested" tracks into a blender and hit Start and choreographed to the mess. And that not a good skate from them. But we'll see...

Yup. They got dinged and they deserved to get dinged. Sloppy skate.

She and Dimitri have long lines and look nice in lifts and spins

I really like their program from last year that they're using this year

She has good flexibility
