Maxim posted on Instagram a photo with Tatiana from last night's performance writing the name of the song they skated on. Maybe he's reading our forum

It happened in the second half of the program. Her hand touched the ice when she landed the throw, then they moved into a back to back position (sorry I don't know the name of it
), then they moved into a ballroom-type dance move where they were face to face. While face to face, he made 2 quick attempts (not sure if he ever made contact) to kiss her on the forehead. Before all of that happened, there were the side by side spins where Max was shouting the "change position" word. I've tried to figure out what the word sounds like, but all I can come up with is that it's a one syllable word that might sound like "aht" on the end (rhymes with cat), but I can't tell what the first letter would be. You can definitely see Max's mouth forming the word, but the sound really blends in well with the loud JCS music.Thanks so much for re-posting the St. Petersburg video, orangella! The Olympic gala performance video was so long that I had to divide it into 2 videos (my lame Vimeo account
). The first half is ready to watch, but I'm still waiting for the second half to upload. If I didn't know better, I would think that commentator, and former Olympic gold-medalist, Tara Lipinski, was a member of our V/T fan club. Listen to what she says about how Max treats Tanya on the ice. I think that gala is on tumblr as well with German commentaries. (so no V/T fangirling there):scowl:
They complained about his hairstyle, his sweater and that they as Olympic Champions chose such a melancholy music wasn't right for them either

Oh, I didn't realize that! Thanks for letting me know. I hadn't seen it online yet.
I forgot to mention how much I LOVE that gala song! Think I've seen an older exhibition performance where they skated to it, too.
Regarding Max's latest instagram post, looks like they're back at home. Hopefully he doesn't have access to a flat iron there. No more gala hair, Max. No more gala hair.

That's the same song just different persons playing it.
At least it qoutes on the youtube Art on Ice videos that it is Rach 2 as well....
Yes they skated to it in 2012. When they performed it at galas they mostly gave The Godfather as an encore. I just love that

Sorry that the second video isn't quite as in focus as the first. And maybe it's just me, but Max didn't seem 100% during this performance. Don't know if he was tired, shoulder was hurting, post-gold medal hang-over (LOL) or what. Made me nervous when he almost lost it during the death spiral.

Oh, you're right. I watched more of the Art on Ice videos where they skated to Hurt.
I think I read somewhere that's when he re-injured his shoulder.
