Aw poor thing :c I remember an interview where he said he was really eager to begin learning English... But I know how hard studying another language is. You get discouraged often.

Granted, this was back when he was beginning hs, but he said he wanted to especially focus on English and he desperately wanted to learn to be able to answer in his own words at press conferences. Sorry to see it's been really hard for him with other schoolwork, training, media, etc...

In the video they aren't talking about Yuzuru. The camera crew is making a video about the food in the Olympic village. They are showing the food and are showing some of the items they think will appeal to the Japanese athletes. While they are doing so, just by chance Yuzuru comes into the cafeteria. He gets a bottle of fresh pear juice. He is surprized that he is being videoed.

The kid is thinner than Adelina Sonitkova. I think he even looks slimmer than Mao.

That he has slim ,tiny body doesn't mean he doesn't have strength in muscles. Of course for sure he doesn't have overall strength for example of Javier ho is very muscular, but in terms of strenght for handling his body weight he is for sure very strong

He has enough strong in his leg to have just what he needs for doing a perfect jump
No much, no less. But a little bit more muscles may help me for his stamina. Because after performing, he makes breathless.Actually not so much I think, because more muscles = more oxygen needed to feed those muscles.
Honestly I think his body is currently well balanced for him. He really was looking good here at worlds. I don't think anyone could have enough power at the end of free programme to jump that 3S in seq totally without any speed, he needed a lot of power there

He looks good in Japanese traditional clothes, maybe he should skate to somethings like this next season (yes wishful thinking I know...)

I lol-ed so hard when the commentator (?) said somethings like "fresh juice... thanks to fresh juice (we?) can restore energy/spirits" (sorry my Japanese's terrible) and then Yuzu's expression when he found out he was filmed. Precious!

Hello everyone. I wanted to finally introduce myself since I've been lurking in this thread since the Olympics. Brian Joubert is the skater who got me in to figure skating but during the Sochi Olympics I decided to check out the kid that broke the world record and now...well, now I'm here o_o I read this entire thread starting at page 1 in like three days when I first found it and I wanted to say thanx for creating a pleasant environment for skating fans. I'm afraid I don't have much to offer right now since the only other language I speak is German which isn't particularly useful when it comes to the Yuzu fandom >_>

At least your English is wonderful and you know much about skating than many other people~ (include me ) Can you tell me how FK is in German? Is there any Yuzu fandom there?
