I just kinda got caught in a contrast-shock here, because just yesterday I stumbled upon this on tumblr, and whenever I see that video and read things like "sexy pose" it makes me laugh so hard, because all I can see is "completely and utterly adorable"... but dang, that picture is something else

Today at random, I was bored and browsed some videos on youtube on Yuzuru's performances when he was competing as a novice to a junior. The growth of his skating is incredible each year!! :agree: He also jumped a bunch of triples at such a young age, he's truly a prodigy.

What was this spin ! Goodness, so style at his age ! His twirls were very beautiful. Depending to the angle of the camera, sometimes it was more beautiful than this twirls today.

Brian's probably wearing his skates. In other pictures/videos he's a bit shorter than Javier and Yuzuru.

Oh that shot with Brian Orser wearing the men's figure skating gold medal really gets to me! That should also be posted in the thread of Brain Orser being named icenetwork's Person of the Year! Thanks Celeste for sharing.

@Pamina, re the picture of Brain Orser in the Pooh costume, my immediate reaction is to laugh like you because we all know his attitude towards Yuzuru's Pooh. But just like Pooh, Brian Orser also has the ability to calm Yuzuru down; and because of Brian Orser's ah, shall I say increasing proportions, ursine comparisons have also been made.

Not necessarily. He uses LINE, so it is easy to ask Nam to use LINE too. I think that is also called texting? Another possibility is iMessage, which can be used from iPod Touch as well as the latest MacBook and iPad, which we know he has them all (not sure about iPad though)...

^Ah so he's an Apple guy and maybe doesn't need to activate the Samsung phone given to all Olympic athletes in Sochi.

On another note, not sure whether texting (with all its shortcuts, etc.) is the "proper way" for him to learn English, but then every opportunity to practice his English can only help him.

Can someone explain to me why he's not 'allowed' a phone if he has all those other technical gizmos anyway? 
(maybe I'm just not up to date on that topic)
