I think this could be very true. In the referenced Instagram pic the barre is blocking her leg and she is stretching. She looks very healthy in her face though. From the articles out her and Ruslan have been training long hours and intensely. If you look at her other pics she has good muscle tone.
 
She looks great, and her muscle tone looks amazing. Until now she never looked so fit early in the season,which is good, says a lot about the group's off ice training to me.
 
Well, maybe it's just this specific picture then...
It's just that I saw her arms and thigh and was like WOW this a like skin and bones! But yeah on somr other pics she looks healthier. I was just worried :)

I also really think that she and Ruslan trained extra hard.
1. Because they need to built a base as a couple and get to know each other.
2. The pressure is on (and I think also the pride!) With their ex partners as their rivals.... if I was Elena I'd give everything to stand above Nikita on the podium and grin down at him:biggrin:

Kustarova says that programs are fully ready. Kids are tired of course, because it is a big task. In such a short period it is not easy to make things which other couples are doing for years. But Lena and Ruslan are fighters, they are focused and friendly. Yes, it is hard for them, but nobody can say that they look like skaters/couple newly formed now. Kustarova is proud of them because of it.

They are all enjoying to work together, they are getting a positive emotions from each other and it is necessary for them.

I'd love to see the programs, but Elena's happy comments and pictures on Instagram are almost as good!
