Helsinki, FINLAND - 1999 World Figure Skating Championships, Ice Dancing, Original Dance - Marina Anissina and Gwendal Peizerat of France won the Original Dance and moved up from 2nd to 1st Place going into the Free Dance. This is the first season where a spin was added as a required element.
