Vienna, AUSTRIA - 1979 World Figure Skating Championships, Pairs' Long Program - Tai Babilonia and Randy Gardner of the United States won the Long Program to win the Gold Medal. It was and remains to this day only the second gold medal won by the United States in Pairs Figure Skating.
