Milan, ITALY - 1998 European Championships, Ladies' Free Skate - Irina Slutskaya of Russia placed 2nd in the Free Skate. Along with her 3rd Place finish in the Short Program, Irina would end up with the Silver Medal by virtue of the tiebreaker, since she finished 2nd in the Free Skate behind Maria.
