2025 JGP Abu Dhabi Women's Short Program

It was meant to be sibling. I squished my finger this morning and given that I am a three-finger typist at best, that never helps my accuracy.

Ouch.

If it's any consolation, I'm not a great typist either. When we were learning to type at school, the computer I was working at broke, and I didn't know where I had got to and ended up repeating a large chunk. And so didn't get to the end of the course in time for the exam.

Incidentally, I frequently press "o" instead of "i". So, I suppose you could say we're kinda like fraternal twins!

And we can't trust Spellcheck to save us... I was once writing an email to a professor with the surname Fatseas and Spellcheck blithely changed it to, you guessed it, Fatso! 😬

Haven't seen Zhasmin in a while, she looks all grown up!

Finally can post here, I've been watching since the first skater but been distracted by dinner and helping my partner with IT issues 😅

Impression so far, Seojin's score seemed high compared to the what we've seen so far... that 3T in the combo was definitely under if not a downgrade, surprised her TES didn't drop much :scratch2:

I am loving this K&C btw, very in theme

Drat! I thought Zhasmin was in Group 4!!! I was busy replying to a comment rather than listening to Ted and Mark, so I didn't realise it was her!

I got mixed up with my kids competing at the Trialeti Trophy. They are in Group 4. :palmf: :slink:

I'll re-watch her during the resurfacing.

I am so over cartwheels, kiddies.... (not that I was ever NOT over them, as I am sure someone will remind me)

This is actually her third competition in as many weeks. Baku for the Junior GP, then the Denis Ten Memorial Challenge last week, and now here for another Junior GP.

You could see doing back-to-back competitions was catching up with her in the FS in Almaty a few days ago. So, I was nervous for her this week.

She turns 17 on Wednesday week (yesterday fortnight).

Ruichen, like many of the other Chinese skaters, seems to not be in a very good shape after an early start to the season to even make it here. Still, that she even qualified for the JGP is a testament to her talent and the quality she was able to deliver earlier on this season in July/August.
