Although I don't like her dress, I did like the music. And the skating.

Agata MATONE (Startas) was wearing a flapper dress that was mostly illusion mesh in the top half, and then purple for the rest of it.

She was skating to "It Don't Mean A Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing"

That was a really enjoyable programme!

She goes into 2nd position.

She seems disappointed.

Daniele TAMKEVICIUTE (Startas) was wearing a black jumpsuit. And skating to a song where the vocals were drowned out by the music.

Fall on the first element. And nearly all of the final element, the Change Foot Combination Spin, was after the music had finished.

But, in between, it seemed to go well.

She goes into 7th position.

Ieva NORKUTE (LFLS) was wearing a black dress with red trim.

She was skating to "Vampire" by Olivia Rodrigo (I think that's the first time I've heard one of her songs. I enjoyed it!)

She had a wild fall on one of her jumps.

She seems happy enough in the results area. She's even singing to the camera! Except we can't hear her.

She goes into 12th position.

Medeina TAMKEVICIUTE (Startas) is wearing a red dress. And skating to "Bla Bla Bla Bla Cha Cha Cha".

I may not be keen on the song, but she skated well to it. She was really going for it. As shown by the fact that she was tired when she finished.

I recognised Aniceta VILCINSKAITE (Elektrenu) as soon as I saw her. Or rather, I recognised her dress. It is pretty distinctive. The top right hand half is black, and the rest is yellow.

It is the same dress that she wore last season. But from reading what I wrote during the 53rd Volvo Open Cup, I am nearly sure it is a different programme.

Aniceta VILCINSKAITE (LTU) wearing a dress that is predominantly yellow, but with the right third black.

Spanish music. But not Olè music. It was guitar music in the first half, and then techno music in the second half.

She had falls on her first two jumps.

And guess what. No deductions!

She goes into 15th position.

She and her coach got up to leave straight away. And I think Aniceta burst into tears as she was getting up.

It was a still Spanish music. But, we had a song with vocals at the start. And although the second half was instrumental, it wasnt techno.

And she skated well.

That'll give me a chance to watch the first group of the Spanish Senior Men's SP that I missed when eating last night.

Allison REED / Saulius AMBRULEVICIUS (Startas) were skating to "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred, and "Cantloop (Flip Fantasia)" by Us3.

Allison wearing a gorgeous black dress. Saulius also wearing all black.

They were great!

Well, that went down really well with the audience!

Lots of cuddly toys thrown to them.

They are not being scored. Instead they are being interviewed, and given flowers.

If the PDF is right, they are not down to appear tomorrow.

Right, after that unexpected excursion into Ice Dance, it's time for the Junior Ladies.

Only 2 skaters on the ice for the Group 1 Warm-Up, because there have been two withdrawals:

Evelina STAVICKYTE (Startas) is wearing a gorgeous black and blue dress, with silver pattern.

The music she is skating to is beautiful too, from the "Interstellar" soundtrack, by Hans Zimmer.

She had a fall in the middle of the programme. But, on the whole, I really enjoyed it.

I think she's disappointed.

She goes into the lead. Obviously.

Viktorija MICHALOVSKA (Startas) is wearing a dress of various shades of dark pink / dark red.

I don't know the song she is skating to, but it is very haunting.

Fall on first element. But otherwise good.

She had a fall too, but was otherwise good.

Milana SINIAVSKYTE (Kristal Ice) is wearing a dress of various shades of blue and green and white. It made me think of the sea. Which it is supposed to, because she was skating to a song called "Arms Of The Ocean" by Blackbriar.

I just looked the band up. They're from Assen. And to a motorbike racing fan like me, that place means a lot.

Anyway, getting back to Milana. She was really good.

First skater to not have a fall.

She goes into the lead.

Agne IVANOVAITE (Startas) is wearing a magenta dress.

She is skating to beautiful instrumental music. There was dialogue in the early stages, but thankfully the music totally drowned it out. It didn't quite drown out the vocals in the second half, though.

There were mistakes, but she didn't have any falls.

She's happy.

She goes into 3rd position.

The Junior Ladies finish with Milita MAKAREVIC (Ledo Magija). She was wearing a black dress with silver sparkly pattern.

She was skating to that "Bang Bang" song where I can never make out the lyrics to find out what it is (it isn't the Nancy Sinatra song, or the Jesse J song)

Another skater that didn't have any falls!

She goes into 4th position.

Resurfacing now.

When I was looking at the time for the Senior Ladies, I forgot that this was 2 hours ahead of me, not 1 hour like Spain. Consequently, I am going to be eating while the competition I specifically wanted to see is on.

So, I am going to pause the stream, and try to get them watched in between finishing eating and the Senior Ice Dance in Spain starting.

I don't know if I will be able to manage it, but I need to see them tonight in case the stream gets zapped.

Interesting. At the start of the Warm-Up, Aleksandra was doing laps of the rink on her own, while the two younger girls were doing laps together.

When they started actually doing things, Aleksandra did some spinning drils right in front of the camera, before heading out of shot..

Because the camera was only showing about a sixth of the rink, most of the time we only saw skaters crossing the shot. But we did see Aleksandra do a lovely jump early on. After that three times we saw her lining up a jump, which she then did just out of shot.

We saw Aleksandra doing some stretches on her arms within shot too.

So, not a lot to go on. For any of them, really.
