I'm not going to make it to the end of this group because I have an online tutorial to run this evening.

For context when we get to the next group, Kristen Spours had what initially looked like at career-ending spinal injury last Spring/Summer, shortly after Worlds. She lost the use of one leg and had complex spinal surgery. She had to learn to walk again afterwards. She only returned to the ice a month or so before our Nationals (which were in December). She did very well at Nationals, but was - very understandably - not at her previous standard.

My baby girl first out of the doors!!!

She runs on, and is going so fast that the spotlights don't catch her!

As she is the first to skate, Stefania is first to be featured. And we see her taking off her jacket, and handing it to Sergei, who has managed to get to Sheffield this time after missing the Robin Cousins Cup due to Visa issues.

I had kinda been hoping to see her Mum with her again. She's really nice.

Right. We saw a shot of the coaches, and Sergai was talking very animatedly towards the ice. But we couldn't see Stefania with him! I assume she was somewhere nearby!

Unfortunately, we didn't see Stefania doing anything during the Warm-Up.

But, we will now. Because she's first to skate!

She's getting pumped up for this.
