I think it's a simple case that she is wearing black because it is a colour that suits her.

That's understandable, but there's surely got to be a color that suits her that also suits the music. Don't worry, CaroLiza_fan, I know you adore her, and I enjoyed her skate. But it's a very puzzling and jarring costume choice and one I'm side-eyeing her team for.

A spunky, sassy performance from Julia in this skate, and so much speed carried through it from start to finish. The elevation on her rippon 3Lz looked huge, and she gets great amplitude in the tuck jump of her flying sit spin. I liked the twizzles (or were they travelling three turns?) into her camel spin.

A creditable skate for Loena, especially considering that this is her third competition since ankle surgery. Big 3F, but she goes down on the landing. Spread eagle out of the 2A, Ina Bauer entry into the 3Lz-3T. Her spins are as good as ever; the little rise on her toe pick while holding her blade was impressive. First skater to score in the 60s this evening.
So impressive, especially given the past few months… still, seeing her so disappointed is heartbreaking.
