That was timely. As soon as we left the results area to watch the Group 2 Warm-Up, Liza went across up close right in front of the camera. She already had her jacket off.
In the next minute or so, she went across the shot a few times. And then when she was doing a turn, she nearly collided with another skater.
A while later, she was doing the same turn again, fortunately without anybody around. And it was obvious that she was lining up a jump. But, she did it out of shot.
After crossing the shot a few more times, we saw her come into shot doing some arm stretches.
She crossed the shot a few more times. But we didn't see her do any elements.
So, we'll just have to wait until it's her turn.

I've already had kids winning medals at Four Continents this morning. Will I have another joining them at the Volvo Open Cup this afternoon?

A lot of cheering from the audience when she was introduced.
Olè!
The sound quality is awful!
Beautiful sequence of jumps to start with.
Beautiful Triple Loop.
Beautiful combination jump.
Beautiful Double Axel into Layback Spin.
Choreographic Sequence good.
Ach. Off axis on Double Salchow
And then a dodgy landing on Triple Lutz.
Next combination jump good. As was Change Foot Combination Spin that followed.
Step Sequence good.
And a lovely combination spin to finish with.
Having a wee thought to herself after she finished. Not sure whether she's happy with the things that went well, or frustrated with the mistakes.
Seeing her in the results area, I think it's a bit of both.
She can't believe the scores!
She goes into 2nd position in both the FS and overall.
She's absolutely delighted!!!
