I remember the case, but I believe that was on request of particular country, when she used Poland as transitional port. Now the situation is different when Russian skaters are officially in. Of course we have to count with everything, maybe Poland turns crazy, that can't be excluded, but if they did not issue any protest till now then I hope it will be fine.

Russian pairs have entry in China, Turkey and Poland, so I presume let's say Sh/K in China, second pair (let¨s say Sazhina/Belkin) in Turkey and whichever of them scores better will go to Poland.

Rusfed won't take any risks. The first two stages will be handed over to the leaders, and it's quite possible that the third stage will be lost, so at least one pair will be able to advance to the final.
It was officially confirmed today that a Russian sports pair has received one quote for the stage in Poland.

Sad, but there also was some rhythmic gymnastic competition in Poland with Russian participation a week or two ago. But yes, it is probably a safe way to send one team to two stages and then eventually try to give another pair the third entry if possible.
