Okay, most of us have seen the ladies SP. Most of us have already rewatched it. I know there are some technical specialist on here & some of us who just have a good eye for skating. Where would you have placed the ladies?

1.Flatt - I loved the program. I thought she was beautful. The triple triple looked good to me. She has everything that makes me love the sport, beautiful jumps, great musicality and the joy of skating.

2.Liang - Loved her program. She was so determined to land those jumps. That is all we have been wanting from BeBe all season.

3.Kimmie - I would have her in third. She was good but there was nothing special. She doesn't wow you with anything but the jumps. But she has the potential. I think she is going to have to earn the title. Their all gunning for her.

4.Czisny- I would have her 4th even with the popped jump. She does everything better then everyone else.

5. Hughes - I liked her program to Carmen, but I did not love it. I did not think she performed it as well as she did at Skate America.

6. Taylor - nice to see she is back. She is okay. She just does everythig okay.

7. Kahle - I loved the program. Like Alissa everything was fantastic but the popped jump.

8. Zukowski - This poor girl needs someone to work with her. She still needs to stretch out. She needs to learn to skate to the music. She is so blah!

1. Liang- Complete package IMO. She had good jumps, spins and presentation.

2. E. Hughes- Her jumps were huge. The lutz was much better than it was earlier n the season.

3. Flatt- The triple triple looked a bit sloppy but complete.

4. Meissner- I agree that she was good but nothing special. And how she got credit for the triple toe is beyond me. Her skate was forward when it touched the ice.

5. Katy Taylor- Clean but her jumps are small.

6. Czisny- If not for the single lutz I'd put her in second. Spins were incredible!

Overall, it was a good night of skating. Hopefully it continues in the free. I 'm just hoping Liang can stay in the top 3 and go to Worlds.

I like the way flying camel called it. It was wonderful to see Bebe doing what she is capable of. Do it again tonight, girlfriend!

Already was talking about this in another thread, but:

1. Emily Hughes - Huge jumps...didn't see those coming. Good spiral sequence, interesting straightline footwork, good spins, good energy....there's nothing you can fault her for.

2. Bebe Liang - Very close runner up to Hughes. Great spins, spiral, and circular footwork. The best presentation of the night. She's second to Hughes because of the jumps...Bebe was clean on her jumps but she doesn't get as much height and is almost always slightly swingy on her landings, so I can't give her a +1 GOE bonus for them like I would have for Hughes.

3. Rachel Flatt - She's such a little brat. But she did a Triple-Triple combination (barely).

4. Kimmie Meissner - Nothing interesting, nothing amazing. At least she attempted (key word attempted, because it wasn't successful) a Triple/Triple, though, so that just slightly puts her above....

5. Katy Taylor - Her skating is still a bit superficial but this was a good performance and she did a good job on all of the elements.

6. Alissa Czisny - AMAZING spins, great spiral and presentation....and a popped Lutz. She loses over 5 points for that...huge deduction that can't be ignored. I would have placed her 1st otherwise.

I would have Kimmie, BeBe and Emily in a virtual first place tie (within 1.5 points of each other). Then Rachel in 4th, Taylor 5th and Czisny right behind her in 6th.

If Alissa had been clean I'd have her in 1st.
OK, in the short, I would have put Bebe first over Kimmie. But I also wouldn't have given Kimmie full credit for her 3/3. The rest, I agree with the placements.
BUT! Katy's long program was a mess. How would that make her the best? And Bebe, even though I would love her to actually put together two great programs and win, just didn't deliver in the long. I may not like the way things turned out, but I accept that the order was right.
