I have heard a few rumors that the age for Juvenile Well Balanced for girls is increasing to 13. I can't find anything about this on the US Figure Skating site, so I'm not inclined to believe it, but my recently 12-year-old daughter (January birthday), got pretty excited when she overheard this, and I told her I would try to track down the answer. She will be competing at Pre-Juvenile this Spring and she and her coach are debating whether to give Juvenile a try in the Summer/Fall since it will be her only chance to do NQS at that level, but she probably won't be quite ready to be truly competitive in our area. With another year, she may be. Does anyone have a firm answer on this either way? Thank you.
